As part of our School of Religion, we prepare our children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. For those who were not baptized as infants, we have a Rite of Christian Initiation for Children program as well.

We prepare for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Fall. Also known as First Penance, we celebrate this sacrament here at Holy Name. In 2007, it will take place on November 13 at 7pm.

We celebrate First Eucharist during Easter season. Also known as First Communion, we begin preparing for this sacrament in early Spring. Each candidate must have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation to be eligible.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in mid October. This year, we will celebrate the sacrament on January 15, 2008 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Click on Get in Touch for information.
